This blog is where we document our fight.
We're a husband and wife team building Thieves, a tool to reclaim your attention, time, money and prevent loss opportunities. It uses AI to monitor the internet for you, based on simple instructions. For example: “Tell me when there’s news about AI agents in fintech.” When your conditions are met, you get alerted. Our mission is to build agents that not only inform you but eventually act on your behalf.
That brings us to our blog.
Let's be clear. This is not your typical sanitized shitty marketing blog. You know the one we mean, the blog with a post title “5 Ways to Hack Your Productivity” and other polished, soulless garbage classics like “Your Website Probably Stinks—Here’s How to Fix It!”. You won't find SEO-driven headlines, or focus-grouped branding here. These posts represent our authentic selves and our authentic thinking.
This is our public journal. It's where we'll share what's actually on our minds:
- The technical hurdles and breakthroughs in building Thieves.
- Our unfiltered views on technology and the world it's creating.
- Our philosophical arguments that shape our code, our ethics, our strategises and who we are.
- The unpolished reality of trying to build something that matters.
- And anything else we damn well please, as long as we believe it offers real value to someone, somewhere.
This is us, building in the open. While this is our journal, it isn't a monologue. We're starting a conversation for anyone who's tired of the old way. Our views will change over time, our thinking will evolve, we will get things wrong and we are definitely not experts.
